Australia's Troy Herfoss overcame a last-row starting position to finish third and claim the Supermoto Premier title on Sunday at the XTRM AMA Supermoto Championship, presented by Parts Unlimited, at the Infineon Raceway Kart Center.

Herfoss (KTM) was forced to start in the back row for the 17-lap main event after suffering a mechanical failure during the heat race.  He battled his way to eighth by lap four and worked his way to a podium finish to clinch the championship.

Infineon Raceway will again join forces with the public this holiday season for its 8^th annual Thanksgiving Food Drive, Nov. 3-21.

These are incredibly difficult times, making this year's drive extremely important - all of the non-perishable food items collected will be given to the Committee on the Shelterless (COTS) in Petaluma and Friends in Sonoma Helping (FISH) in Sonoma.

Warm temperatures and mild headwinds made for nearly ideal conditions during the Bracket Drag Races at Infineon Raceway, Nov. 16. Nearly 230 drag racers from all over Northern California and beyond convened on the Sonoma Valley drag strip for the second-to-last bracket drag race event of the 2008 season. The final bracket drags event will be held on Sunday, Nov. 30.
