Motocross Returns to Infineon Raceway This Weekend

Motocross racing makes its return to Infineon Raceway during the Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown, presented by Supercuts, May 16-18. More than 500 riders are expected for the event, which is hosted by Wine Country Motocross.
The hills behind Turn 7 will come alive with 30 classes of competition, with riders battling for a pro purse of $25,000. This marks the first motocross event at Infineon Raceway since 2002 (Sonomafest). Continued >>

If it races on two wheels, you're likely to see it at Infineon Raceway during the Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown, presented by Supercuts, May 16-18. In addition to a Superbike double-header and a full slate of AMA Pro Racing, the weekend will also feature Supermoto USA, SBFreaks Street Freestyle and new for 2008, motocross.

Northern California Riders Featured at Red Bull AMA U.S. Rookies Cup in Sonoma

The Red Bull AMA U.S. Rookies Cup Series will make its debut at Infineon Raceway, May 17-18, as part of the Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown, and two Northern California riders will be part of the action. The weekend is presented by Supercuts.
The Red Bull AMA U.S. Rookies Cup, in its inaugural year, was created by Red Bull as a platform for showcasing young road-racing talent between 13 and 16 years old at AMA Superbike weekends. Seven states and six nations are represented amongst the 23 riders. Continued >>

Carey Hart, Legendary Freestyle Rider, to Compete at AMA Weekend in Sonoma

Carey Hart, one of the world's best known freestyle motocross riders, will be at Infineon Raceway, May 16-18, for the Kawasaki AMA Superbike Showdown, presented by Supercuts.
If you'd like to catch a glimpse of this star rider, head up to the Infineon Raceway Karting Center. He'll be a competitor in the Supermoto USA racing action on the world-class 16-turn kart track. Continued >>
