IndyCar Weekend - What's Happening
Grand Prix Gala
Infineon Raceway will host the 4th annual Grand Prix Gala on Friday night, Aug. 22, at a beautiful winery in Sonoma. All proceeds from the gala will benefit the Valley of the Moon Teen Center and Hanna Boys Center in Sonoma through Speedway Children's Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway. To reserve a seat or table at the Grand Prix Gala, contact Denise Silver at 707-933-3950. Individual tickets for the evening, which includes a cocktail reception, dinner and program, are $200. Tables of 10 are available for $2,000.
Track Talk
Race fans are invited to the Wine Country Winner's Circle during the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma County race weekend for intimate question-and-answer sessions with top drivers.
IndyCar® Series & Grand-Am Driver Autograph Sessions - Saturday, Aug. 23
Fans will have a chance to meet many of the stars from the Grand-Am Series and IndyCar Series at the driver autograph sessions on Saturday, August 23.
IndyCar Charity Auction - Sunday, Aug. 24
It's a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take a pace lap with star drivers like Helio Castroneves, Dan Wheldon or Danica Patrick around the world-famous road course. All proceeds benefit Speedway Children's Charities, the charitable arm of Infineon Raceway. The auction will take place on Sunday morning in the Wine Country Winner's Circle.
Airshows America's Patriots Jet Team Air Show
Race fans will want to be in their seats well before the start of Sunday's main event in order to enjoy the Patriots Jet Team Air Show. This show, performed in four 1983 L-39 Ex-Military Jets, will feature 20 minutes of beautifully choreographed maneuvers, including diamond formation loops and rolls. Don't miss it!
Live Music by the Unauthorized Rolling Stones
You can catch the always entertaining Unauthorized Rolling Stones at Infineon Raceway all weekend at the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma County. It's the next best thing to standing alongside Mick Jagger. This band will perform throughout the weekend.
